ABout Jim
Jim was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he studied film production and creative writing.
After college, he moved to Los Angeles where he was a television production assistant by day and a ravenous content creator and comedian by night. He learned to be a one man production team, writing, directing, editing, and even creating motion graphics for dozens of online comedy sketches.
Jim’s sketch work was frequently featured on sites like College Humor and Funny or Die, and eventually helped him break into his first writers rooms.
For twelve seasons, Jim wrote, directed, and produced Comedy Central’s Tosh.0. There he became a seasoned pro at writing jokes, pitching segments, and producing sketches, interviews, and a weekly live-to-tape show.
Recently, Jim has done creative work for companies like Nickelodeon, Absurd Ventures, FaZe Clan, USA Network, and NBC’s GolfPass, as well as writing, producing, and pitching both scripted and unscripted tv projects.
With nearly two decades of television production experience, his quick wit, creative problem solving, and strong leadership skills make him a valuable asset to any team.
